Network of centres EUROPE DIRECT operates in regions of all member states of EU and gives general information on European matters. In the Czech Republic EUROPE DIRECT offers its informative and advisory activities in nine centres. EUROPE DIRECT is appropriate informative signpost that can be accessed personally by visiting the centre, telephonically, via email or simply by obtaining information on web sites. EUROPE DIRECT network provides meetings, seminars or exhibitions and organizes educative programs for schools or other institutions concerning EU topics. EUROPE DIRECT centre also runs library with offer of various publications and brochures on European policies. EUROPE DIRECT is main gate towards information on EU and it offers actual and direct connection with Europe.

European Documentary Centre is part of informative network EUROPE DIRECT. Its main task is to aid schools with development and consolidation of schooling and especially research in area of European integration, provision of information on EU and its policy towards students and public. There are eight European Documentary Centres in the Czech Republic. Working hours of European Documentary Centre is similar to working hours of university libraries.
